Here are some simple guidelines for preparing your files. If you have any specific instructions, please include them in the form.

All Stems:

  1. Ensure all files match start and end times.

  2. Export at 48kHz/32-bit.

Instrument Stems:

  1. Provide the stems with processing (EQ, compression, and effects).

  2. For drum kits, whether sampled or live, separate each component and include a stereo stem for the full kit.

  3. Keep loops/samples/lead instruments separate from other mixed elements.

  4. In live recordings, maintain separation for audience microphones—avoid combining all audience mics into one

Vocal Stems:

  1. Separate individual vocal elements (lead vocal, adlibs, backing vocals).

  2. Deliver both 'processed' and 'unprocessed' vocal stems, ensuring that corresponding effects are printed separately.

  3. Include tuning effects on unprocessed elements (Autotune, Melodyne, etc.).
